Accommodation on the Blue Train
Suites aboard the Blue Train are the epitome of style and class. By day, your DeLuxe suite takes the form of an elegant private lounge. At night, it transforms into a luxurious bedroom, with bedding of goose down & cotton, individually controlled air-conditioning, heated floors and an en-suite bathroom fitted with plush towels and first class amenities.

The Blue Train also features two common lounges, where you can meet fellow passengers and build a rapport over drinks. The Club Car is a stately, wood-panelled cigar lounge. Cigars are served after dinner and the Club Car offers cognac and other beverages. The beautiful Lounge Car, towards the middle of the train, is decorated with rare works by some of South Africa’s finest artists and flanked by large windows that frame the breathtaking landscapes as you pass through ever-changing panoramas. Traditional English High Tea is served in the Lounge Car in the afternoons.
